every time i see a post where someone says gabriel reyes blew up overwatch hq i lose ten years off my life because:
- exposition lore states that it was the fighting that got so bad that caused the explosion, not gabriel
- in ana’s comic gabriel wouldn’t have any right to be so pissed about getting left behind after the explosion if he intentionally caused it to happen—why the fuck would he expect anyone to come back for him if his betrayal was that transparent?
- jack is currently breaking into high security facilities to find answers about what the fuck happened that day. if it was as cut and dry as gabriel just blowing up HQ, why investigate in the first place?
