What happened to Etienne’s face after Jeremias burned it off? Well, Jeremias returned the next day. He cleaned up the bits of loose skin, cleaned the skull of any flesh and then managed to pin it neatly against the rest of the skin. Poor Etienne is terrified of being hurt again, he had no idea the Light could be used to inflict such willing pain.
