Now imaging Anduin sipping a Dr. Pepper planning all the ways he’s going to be a little shit today

I plan being a little shit, now? Hm. That’s news to me.

…Just because I think ahead on what to argue with Wrathion about doesn’t mean I plan how to be a “little shit”

We only pick on you because we care. At least that’s my reasoning. Not sure what Barks’ is…

This exactly, one of the signs I consider anyone a friend is mercilessly harassing them. (Tev would never admit to this. Or understand that this would be a thing to admit in the first place, really.)

Every time I see you, young prince, you are either in the process of being a little shit, about to be a little shit, or have just been a little shit.

I refuse to believe this isn’t premeditated.

In a discussion on taxes, I just linked my co-worker the Human ending of WCIII (You know, the one with Arthas.) His response: “i believe i have seen this”

you had better have seen this

or I am going to ban you from my office

This is all very excellent. I wanted to bring up a question if I may:

If Elvish ears are so sensitive, would they be able to also pick up the voices of the dead? I had a theory that came to mind for a relatively short amount of time. If an elf goes blind for instance and the other senses are enhanced to compensate for the loss, would the sensitivity of sound be amplified to the point where one could effectively hear the  sounds of the dead?

It would be the ghosts that linger and the ambiance of the woods around them moaning for the long departed. But not just the dead. It would be memories embedded into the world around them. Scenes that have long since played out, but remain because the energy or emotion around them was so strong.

Would they be able to hear even that?

*cringes*

That isn’t something that we usually talk about… Most try to ignore it, but…

Well, when we sing to the trees, sometimes, they sing back.

Tevruden told me we need some feels and canon images; he won’t touch this one with a 10 foot pole, so here’s some Koltira holding his ears because of a bunch of undead spirits:

gOD ;A;

where does that image come from?

(Thank you, Barkentin, I was going to point that one out but I couldn’t find it anywhere and didn’t want to scan the book.

It’s from the Warcraft Death Knight manga.)

I assume it would for Death Knights since they’re already dead (sort of?) and communion with the departed would be rather easy.

But for the living, this would be even more torturous since they wouldn’t understand why this is happening, or why they would suddenly be able to see or hear them.

(That was an excellent chapter too.)

In the corresponding Dragonblight(?) quest, Arthas mentions that this is something that all death knights suffer from (and that Arthas kept them at bay.)

The panel before that one mentions that blood elves are especially attuned to it.

Rai’ik and Arivaro

Rai’ik died after being burned alive with a horde of Scourge that he was protecting his partner (a fire mage) from.  His partner wanted to make it out alive at all costs and set the horde along with him in the mids of it all aflame.

He did not die, but he was in so much pain he took his own sword to his neck and killed himself, but was soon brought back by the Litch King and his first thoughts were to slay the mage and so he did.  He has no memory of his life before.  However they are slowly creeping back.  He chose to continue in the footsteps of the Litch King, no matter what.

Arivaro is a warrior who survived the war, however he contracted the plague from his wounds and died afterward from the sickness.  He was one of those whom were dug up from their fresh graves and then revived at Ebon Hold.  Unlike his serious and past self, he takes much delight in being who he is and quite enjoys gems and jewels and other treasures more than anything.

Rai’ik is my own character.

Arivaro belongs to
