really cool when a popular piece of media I discovered has black coded/and or dark skinned characters but I never seen any of them until I look up the source material because I forgot how white centered fandoms are and how dark skinned characters are never really cared for as much.
just saying this as a black person it kinda feels a lil upsetting how there will be characters that look like you or coded like you but people care for them less or even WORSE antagonize them.
U wanna go to the north east side of the main Hawaii island where there are steep cliffs – they do helicopter tours of these massive waterfalls and it’s supposed to be otherworldly! But u must make sure they offer rides – i am not sure how often they do and I know the region itself is not accessible to tourists! Good luck if u take the tour send me images

Listen to me right this very instant. The exchange of information is a human task. We developed robots merely to emulate the task. Before we had computers and phones we had words – we asked our questions and the only recipient to our begging words wrought with curiosity would be another man, a scholar, an exchanger of anecdotes. We became who we are today as a mere result of this exchange and you insult it? You undermine the aged tradition as the emulated action of those blasted robots??? Like last time I am using a strict definition of language and a loose definition of being able to speak/knowing the language.
Details:
Sign languages count, conlangs count, super similar languages only counts one & dialects of the same language usually won’t count (unless you can make multiple sentences in both that someone who only spoke the other couldn’t understand), for Norwegian being able to write both bokmål & nynorsk only counts as one
You need to know more than 30 words and be able to construct at least one sentence for it to count. it has to be at least one of the following: writing/signing/speaking/whistling, it doesn’t have to be multiple.
(and for people with “sampling bias” concerns, this is not supposed to represent society as a whole)
