No. Tev doesn’t dislike being undead. He’s also way more powerful than he was when he was alive.
The Tevruden that died in the defense of Silvermoon and the Tevruden that was released from the Scourge at the end of the battle at Light’s Hope aren’t exactly the same person. They share (basically) the same body and a lot of the same memories but after being raised into undeath and nearly a decade of service to the Scourge, Tevruden doesn’t really see a reason to go back.
It’s really important to remember that, as an artist, you are NEVER the first person to do A Thing with your style. People have been doing that Thing since before you were born probably and will continue to do so looong after you’ve claimed the Thing as personally unique.
It’s important to be proud of your work and personal progress but never forget that you started out with nothing. What you have now is an amalgam of visions other people have featured or forgotten and you’ve cobbled them together to convey your own ideas. Eventually other people will use you to convey their ideas.
ALL artists are scavengers and none of us are above each other when it comes to personal style.
As long as you continue to be yourself, your art will reflect it because YOU are the only thing that’s truly unique about your art.
Pablo suggested I try and draw Worgen characters (and possibly Taurens) to later possibly try doing commissions again.
I tried and then went in the wrong direction with colouring, gave up half way through because it was taking far too long to complete and ended with this.
Let me make it clear that white people should never under any circumstance make or engage in white jokes. No matter what your intent is, you have effectively communicated that you think you’re different from other white people and have earned the right to join poc in the one thing we have to make light of our daily experiences with white supremacy. You look like an ass when you do it.
yep. you’re taking power away from it, which means you’re taking power away from us. you’re distancing yourself from your white privilege- you feel exempt from putting in the hardest kind of anti-racist work- processing your own internalized racism & white supremacy. so who does this help? no one, but you. it is selfish and damaging
