“tea is just leaf water!” “yeah well coffee is just bean water!” wow, it’s. it’s like everything is made of things. this door is just wood rectangle. this poster is just ink paper. this lemonade is just lemon water. wow, it’s like you can combine ingredients to make things that are more enjoyable than the initial parts of the equation. sure is a magical world we live in

The sarcasm in this post is fatal

Does that make cocoa bean milk?

Unholy DK PVP macros for 6.0

Hello everyone! My name is Phyrexial, and I’m a death knight on the Emerald Dream server. Avid pvper and RPer with ~2200 rating experience! I’ve gotten a few asks about DK macros and I’ve had some friends pick up DK with Warlords of Draenor, so here are the ones I use:

#showtooltip Lichborne

/cast !Lichborne;

/cast [target=player] Death Coil

This macro will heal yourself with death coils, so just spam it.

——————

#showtooltip Raise Dead

/cast [nopet] Raise Dead; !Dark Transformation

Handy macro for raising your ghoul. If your ghoul is already active, and dark transformation is available, this same button will use it.

——————

/cast huddle

/cast [@pet] Death Coil

This macro will use your pet’s shield wall and heal your ghoul with death coils if he is being focused.

——————-

#Showtooltip Summon Gargoyle

/Cast Summon Gargoyle

/Use Primal Combatant’s Insignia of Victory

/Pet Attack [@Target]

(or replace Combatant’s with “Gladiator’s”, if you have the CQ one)

Thats your basic burst macro, summons gargoyle, uses your trinket, and makes your ghoul attack your target

——————

#showtooltip Raise Ally

/cast [@mouseover,help][@target]Raise Ally

This macro will use the battle rez on your mouseover target (works on raid/party frames or the actual player, or your current target if you have one selected. This is mostly just for WPVP/PVE, but it is handy.

—————-

Typically I like to keep my pet’s abilities separate, but this macro is handy if you need the leap and stun immediately

#showtooltip gnaw

/petattack [target=focus]

/cast [target=focus] !Leap

/cast [target=focus] !Gnaw

This will cause your pet to use its charge and stun. However I highly recommend keeping separate keybinds for each ability bound, because you won’t always need both, especially if the ghoul is transformed.

—————-

It is always good to macro your ghoul’s basic attack command into something you use often. I use Scourge Strike personally.

#showtooltip Scourge Strike

/Cast Scourge Strike

/Pet Attack

—————

#showtooltip Plague Leech

/cast [target=focus, exists] Plague Leech; Plague Leech

This one is for if you use plague leech. This will use the ability on your focus if you have one. if you don’t have a focus it will just use the ability on your current target.

—————

#showtooltip Asphyxiate

/cast [target=focus, exists] Asphyxiate; Asphyxiate

Same deal as the macro above, but for Asphyxiate talent

Fun fact: Cellandria, of course, didn’t have any mounts when she lived in Silvermoon, but her mother did – she had a dragonhawk. After the Scourge invasion,  for Cel, the dragonhawk was one of the few things that were left as a reminder about her mom. But of course, her aunt decided to sell it once things started to settle down just a bit  – not because the woman lacked money, but well, enough is never enough, and she despised her sister, so it was only a pleasure to get rid of the beast as soon as possible, despite  Cel’s protests.

Several years later, however, Cel got it back, finding the new owner and buying the dragonhawk back, and you can imagine how happy she was about it.
