Xavius has been trapped at the deepest point in the Emerald Dream for thousands of years, and as you encounter him in the Rift of Aln you see the full extent of the corruption. When he’s defeated, the body of his former self is all that’s left.

Ok but the thing in the Rift of Aln looks like he went, “This is my OC Xavius, he’s a satyr and the NIGHTMARE LORD and he’s going to corrupt the entire emerald dream, also he’s 30 feet tall and the size of a building. Also he’s been corrupted by the NIGHTMARE so his hands are claws and he has more claws growing out of his back, here’s a picture i drew of him”
