man im so frustrated with PVE this expansion lol
I REALLY HATE 20man, I hate having like 14 people I barely know on the roster/in the guild because if they get reprimanded for fucking up, are they gonna leave? Are they gonna leech gear and skip town? Cuz that’s happened like 8 times already and we’re still in the first fucking tier lol. People continue to suck at basic mechanics.
I’m also not enjoying ret much. I have my 4pc but it forces me to take Divine Purpose, our RNG talent, and then the set bonus itself adds RNG so I’m juggling 4 different random procs in a priority based rotation. It’s not fun because I either get a ton of procs in a row or I sit there languishing for 30sec with NOTHING not even Exo procs. This “feast or famine” playstyle is what I remember most about Cataclysm and it’s one of the reasons raiding was so unfun. Having your damage rely this much on LUCK is really REALLY SHITTY and I have NO IDEA why blizzard returned ret to this state. As a DPS I want control over my damage but this 4pc/talent arrangement makes it very difficult.
I dunno man, I really wanted raiding to be awesome this expansion but I’m just… really disappointed. Everything about WoD has been disappointing tbh and I don’t know what Blizzard’s doing.
I’ve just found the max-level pve content underwhelming. We’re 3 months into the patch and I’ve basically run out of stuff to do on non-raid days. If my math is right, by this point in MoP we already had the Landfall patch, and I, at least, still had two factions of 5.0 dailies to work through.
Right now, all I have is the garrison campaign, and camping for mounts. Everything else I can think of requires a group.
