The other day during a nap I had a dream that WoW players who only bought up to certain expansions would be perpetually stuck experiencing the pre-expansion event (elemental invasion + earthquakes, etc.) for whatever one they haven’t bought yet as a means to motivate them to buy the next bit of content and it turned out to be more lucrative than they imagined as everybody made new accounts just to experience the perpetual scourge invasion.
