I love the protodrake models so much. Seriously some of my favorite mounts in game.

You can also purchase the black protodrake the same way as it was the meta for naxx alongside this one. Good luck trying to get one since they’ll get bought up just as fast as they go up on the AH. One went on WrA not that long ago and hit max within a few minutes.

I would kill for that mount. :<

I saw Invincible on the BMAH the day I moved to WrA. My plan is to gold cap and then spend it on that the next time it comes up. 

Your way is probably actually like 10x faster than mine, but for some reason it sounds like a zillion times more appealing for me to run ICC Heroic 25 every week to try and get Arthas to drop his stupid mount.

So the thing I didn’t mention there is that I have a 11/12 ICC lockout saved and I plan to start soloing ICC25H when Tev is geared to the point that he can meet the DPS requirement to kill Arthas before enrage (which is about 120k DPS average, single-target.)

I’ve already tested it on 10H to see if there were any mechanics issues (there aren’t.)

Was in a group doing Galleon last night and saw a person riding this guy.  He’s the Plagued Proto-Drake.

Apparently he used to be a reward for people that completed Glory of the Raider, but the reward was removed.  After the removal of the mount and a lot of user feedback, Blizz stopped removing the Glory rewards.  But they didn’t reinstate this one.

So now the only way to get it is to hope you can find it on the Black Market Auction House.  And then hope you have upwards of 70k gold just sitting around to throw away on a mount.
