After his first transformation, Leon is trying his best to stay calm and collected, but on the inside Leon is panicking. He has no idea what’s happened to him and knowing his luck he may have been rid of the Plaga only to be burdened with something far worse.
After reassuring Leon several times that the Plaga was not responsible for this change, Luis finds himself trying to figure out what happened to the agent himself. It’s not until Leon is forced to transform again, that Luis finds himself recalling a very, very old tale his grandfather told him when was a little.

What Leon doesn’t realize is that the dog he saved from the bear trap was in fact, not a normal dog, far from it. The so called dog is actually a wolf spirit that has lived the woods for eons, a supernatural creature that held some powerful sway over nature.
