i always like seeing this image get reposted b/c it was painted for a specific scenario in our old roleplay.  koltira and many other WoW chars were living in a modern city [similar to New York] and koltira was temporarily re-enslaved by the lich king — or more specifically by kel’thuzad acting FOR the lich king.  while enslaved, koltira poisoned all the flour for the city’s bakeries :’)

I’m always super floored when folks want to create characters for my canon and flabbergasted when they pay me to draw them. Kirian is one such. A professor in the magic wing of Acchindrazj’s Academy, he has a special interest in poisonous plants and animals. Here he’s holding an autumn crocus, a deadly poisonous flower.
