me: i’m gonna fuck the ghoul and the robot

someone: Why are you so obsessed with monsters anyway?
me, internally: I have always an intense identification with non-human creatures. They help me with self-identification. They’re allowed to stray from typical beauty standards, which appeals to me, and they are allowed to be gender nonconforming, not to mention not have any gender at all. Typically “ugly” parts are turned into wonderful and handsome or beautiful form. Monsters are a really interesting way for me to accept both myself and my own standards of beauty.
me, out loud: they sometimes have multiple arms and muscles and are hot

when i first start shipping something: i need a heart wrenching fic that really captures the characters’ darkness along with an intriguing plot to keep me on my toes

Person: How many OC’s do you have?
Me: That depends. Are you asking how many are in my current project? Or how many in all ongoing projects? Or how many in all projects, both current and defunct? Named characters only, or do unnamed characters count? What level of character development and/or involvement in the story is necessary to be counted? Should characters that were recycled from my old projects count as one or two? Should characters that were merged be counted as one or two? Should I count characters that were written out of the narrative? What about characters who are in my notes but haven’t been written into the draft yet? Many of them are well developed with long backstories. How long are you willing to wait while I count them
