- THE ELDER SCROLLS IS A SINGLE PLAYER ROLE-PLAYING GAME. WORLD OF WARCRAFT IS AN MMORPG. WHERE THE ELDER SCROLLS HAS ADOPTED A MORE ACTION-BASED STYLE AND CONTINUES TO DO SO WITH EACH NEW GAME, WORLD OF WARCRAFT’S COMBAT IS SIGNIFICANTLY LESS ACTION-BASED AND MORE BASED ON KNOWING HOW MUCH MAGICAL HITTING-STUFF GEMS TO USE. THE TWO ARE ONLY SIMILAR IN THAT YOU CAN SMASH OPEN A DRAGON LIKE A PIÑATA AND GET DELICIOUS MAGICAL SWORDS FROM INSIDE OF THEM.
- THE ELDER SCROLLS (AND BETHESDA GAMES IN GENERAL) ARE IMFAMOUS FOR THE AMOUNT OF BUGS, GLITCHES, AND GENERAL GAME-BREAKING OCCURRENCES THEY HAVE AT LAUNCH. BETHESDA IS ALSO NOTORIOUSLY BAD ABOUT PATCHING ALL OF THE BUGS- THERE ARE STILL GAME-BREAKING ERRORS IN MANY OF THEIR GAMES. THAT’S NOT TO SAY BETHESDA ISN’T A GOOD DEVELOPER (THEY ACTUALLY ARE), BUT THEIR GAMES ARE NOTORIOUSLY BROKEN. IN ADDITION, BLIZZARD ENTERTAINMENT DID NOT WIN THEIR MYRIAD OF AWARDS BY BEING A BAD DEVELOPER. SPOILER ALERT: THEY WON THEM FOR THEIR OUTSTANDING ABILITY TO LOSE THEIR BEST TEAM MEMBERS TO ARENANET AND THE TORCHLIGHT DEVELOPERS.
