I FUCKING HATE THAT I GREW UP WITH THE GOOD INTERNET I HATE THAT I REMEMBER GOOGLE SEARCHING A TERM AND FINDING OUT EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS I HATE THAT I REMEMBER WELL DESIGNED WEBSITES MADE FOR EASY VIEW AND NOT TO BOMB YOU WITH ADS I HATE THAT I REMEMBER WHEN APPS WERE TRYING TO BE THEIR BEST AND NOT TO SELL THE MOST I HATE HOW CAPITALISM AFFECTS EVERYTHING AROUND ME AND I HATE THAT I CAN SEE IT SO CLEARLY IN HOW IT AFFECTS THE INTERNET
It was so bizarre seeing the last of the pre “dot-com” internet, then watching the dot com bubble grow and then finally collapse. The internet become this useful place to actually talk to people (and sometimes buy things)… and then watch capitalism leech everything good from the Internet a second time.
Being a vampire isn’t about being a monster it’s about loving life to it’s fullest, art and music, being unapologetic who you are no matter what
AND
being a vampire is about the never ending urge to fall into the deepest pits of your most warped thoughts, the bodily need to be satiated beyond your own sanity
AND
being a horrendous monster that’s not aesthetically pleasing in any shape or form, exists to consume
