Years ago, he would push through the crowds eagerly, hoping to catch a glimpse of his dad returning to the faire to see him and his mom, but he’s long since abandoned that hope and practice. He participates in putting up the tents and rides, but has no involvement in the attractions or shows. Once everything is set up, he’s free for a majority of the active week unless he’s on cleanup duty, which means plenty of time to climb trees and brood in the dramatic lighting.
