Ro’liath turned to the fellow knight, holding his coin pounch in a taloned gauntlet and seemingly studying it’s contents. Except there were none. He looked at Tevruden, offering a sheepish grin, “Got any uh, spare change?” He asked before turning his gaze back to the vendor whom was by now, tapping their foot.
“Yes, but I am sure that a mortal would be injured if they ate this much. This is the third time today." Tevruden takes the cookie offered to him and slowly chews on it for a while as they walk. While undeath had dulled his sense of taste somewhat, what remained gave him something to focus on while he thought.
"I admit there is a certain perverse pleasure in the idea that eating, of all things, is just another thing we can do better than the living. Come on, I know a place off to the left here, they had really good food before I died.”
He grins. “My treat; I bet we could scare them with the amount of food we order.”
"Perverse, well, if we’re talking about eating in that sense…” Ro’liath pauses, “You know what, never mind.” He snorts back a laugh before looking up at the other knight. Tevruden was the only elf in Azeroth who could be taller than him and it was a little unsettling.
Ro’liath hugged the sack of cookies to his chest, shoveling them into his mouth like a starving thief would. At the prospect of even more food though, the knight’s ears perk up noticeably, “You’re buying me cookies and dinner? I can get used to you spoilin’ me, I’ll eat you into debt you know. I don’t talk this hobby lightly.”
Tevruden raises an eyebrow “Not exactly what I had in mind, and with that bag of cookies you’d get crumbs everywhere.”
“You would probably burst before that happened. Since we were freed, the living, especially the Pandaren, keep thinking I need payment whenever I go out and kill things for them. I suppose it helps them sleep at night to think I’m doing it for the money.” The death knight shrugs. "There hasn’t exactly been a lot to spend it.“
