where I grew up in California not only is “dude” generally non-gender-specific, half of the time it doesn’t even refer to a person at all.

in case you guys didn’t know, Shia LaBeouf is an abusive piece of shit and assaulted his ex-girlfriend and said he would have killed her. Please don’t reblog him. I understand that you might not have known but if you see this post I’m asking you to stop putting him on my dashboard. Stop reblogging those gifsets of him watching his own movies. He doesn’t deserve to be praised in any way.

Did anyone actually read this article? This says they got into a fight in Germany and they were arguing and he repeatedly tried to walk away from her and continuously said that he wouldn’t put his hands on a woman but was being pushed. He was asked what was wrong by onlookers and while drunk said “I had to leave, or I would have killed her.” The only source that has ever reported him to put his hands on her is a TABLOID. That same tabloid, the same one referenced in this article, doesn’t even present anything to back up their claim of abuse. Their evidence is saying that he had a hand injury and she reportedly had a black eye.

I’m not trying to defend him, I’m just saying that calling someone an abusive piece of shit for saying they might have killed someone after an intense public argument where said person was refusing to give them their shit AND where they fully removed themselves from the situation is absurd. If anyone has any actual proof of his abuse then gone right ahead and send them my way + I’ll take a seat.
