Thema and I were tossing the ball around, sort of about why Junior would look like Jacky’s alt form, and came up with the idea that he is a kind of magical ambush predator that takes on a form his prey will find familiar and comforting. She’s his master now, which would explain why he takes that form for other people too. Wraiths feed on the Lifeforce of the living. When tied to a master they passively feed off of that person’s energy. Most wraiths are angry and vengeful spirits who will happily take advantage of that over time if not watched carefully. Pretty sure Junior isn’t waiting to ambush Jacky, they are buddies, but its fun daydream fuel. People now think reblogging is an unusual behaviour, rather than a default.
Tumblr newbies, please, for the love of baby Jesus, reblog the posts you like. That is the whole reason the site exists – for you to collect all your shiny fandom objects in a single space. Which you can organize to your heart’s content. Or not organize at all, if that’s your jam.

Liking does absolutely nothing. There is no algorithm like on IG that will use likes to throw content at people. If you don’t reblog, then no one who doesn’t follow that person (or happen to find it in the tags) will see that post.
Tumblr is supposed to be your bookcase where you show off all of your pretties: the posts you like and the ones that you want to promote to support the other creators in your fandom/community.

We need to lay more blame for “Kids don’t know how computers work” at the feet of the people responsible: Google.
Google set out about a decade ago to push their (relatively unpopular) chromebooks by supplying them below-cost to schools for students, explicitly marketing them as being easy to restrict to certain activities, and in the offing, kids have now grown up in walled gardens, on glorified tablets that are designed to monetize and restrict every movement to maximize profit for one of the biggest companies in the world.
