Ehhh…I think that’s a bit of an unfair assessment. Just because they might prefer one outcome of the story over another doesn’t mean they can’t still have fun and enjoy it the way it is, I know I will. Aside from that, yesterday we covered a counter argument and real-world examples coupled with existing grievances from both sides here:
I think people are just really invested and having a fun time talking, which in my opinion makes the whole thing a success. If it were boring we wouldn’t bother! 🙂
Plus you know, this whole thing is fake and the point of the game is to have fun.
It’s not pesudo-historical when there’s dragons and FTL starships and selfie cameras.
It was a bad idea. Artifact Weapons were being criticized since Legion’s launch due to the lack of weapon models, one-weapon-type per spec, AP grind and their irrelevance once the expansion ended. With BoFA coming and the artifact system going away suddenly and for seemingly no reason in terms of story, and just gameplay (even though artifact weapons were huge story-heavy weapons with unlockable lore), it just…further proves they were a bad idea. Every criticism everyone had before Legion even launched was right on the nose.
And they’re apparently taking the AP grind concept and are putting it into a new player item in the next expansion, so they’ve learned basically nothing.
Ok to be fair they said they were going to do this when they introduced them, because they didn’t want a situation like Archeology, where something that should be contained within a single expansion gets dragged into the next one and is something they have to keep updating forever.
Finished! I wanted to try a more sinister take on Sinclair, I tried to imagine the perspective of someone meeting him before a battle… or perhaps during the confrontation.
Swapped Rhemuhas with Sae’tvean’s class because I love edgy boys. What if Draenei demon hunters who use void instead of fel tho? WHAT IF!? This is a pretty rough one since I am so behind on draecember already
HEY SO I’m going to be trying out gold commissions again for World of Warcraft. I’ll only be doing one type of commission, which are these bust sketches you see above. They’re a flat rate of 150k, which is a little bit less than the conversion rate between actual money and wow tokens (currently ((in the us)) tokens are roughly 170k for 15 dollars’ worth of bnet balance). I normally charge 15 dollars for my regular bust commissions, so the conversion works out in your favor. Â
These are different from the sketches that I regularly offer in my normal commissions. I spend more time on these, for one. A minimum of 45 minutes goes into each picture, and I add color to the lineart to help make your character pop a bit more.Â
You also have the option to fill in the lineart with a solid color, and I’ll add your character’s eye color for you instead, like the bottom two images.Â
Other details: -I prefer payments be made Alliance-side, however I will also take payments Horde-side! -Because of the nature of these commissions, payment will be needed upfront, and once I start working on your picture, I will not be able to refund you (barring extreme circumstances). -If you have any questions, you can email me or send me a message via tumblr.Â
If you’re interested, please send me an email at clockworkpriest @ gmail . com (without the spaces). I’ll be opening three commission slots to begin with. Thank you!
