AU where Sig actually accepts Ben’athir’s macabre offer, his moral and emotional barriers worn too thin by Ben’s persistence and related fucked up shit. Maybe life isn’t worth living without him anyway.
Of course, it’s not really happiness or wholeness he feels after. He doesn’t feel much of anything for that matter. Maybe he’ll feel the usual mixture of hate and anger that drives most DKs eventually, but towards who? Ben or himself? Probably both.
Imo a DK’s spec usually has something to do with the way they died, so if Sig dies by bleeding out he’d become a blood DK like Ben.
(I actually have a Lobster DK on some lowpop rp server lol, lvl70-something. I haven’t done anything with him since WotLK. )
