dr-grump:

Asexual and bisexual people are mirror images of one another in a lot of ways, and have a ton of parallel experiences of marginalization. People doubt their identities, pressure them into sex they don’t want to have, and see them as straight invaders of queer communities. Both groups are asked to prove who they are, and are seen as annoying and attention-seeking. Both are often seen as fundamentally not well suited for monogamous relationship models. Both are seen as untrustworthy or undateable.

I’ve identified as both of these things and I’ve had some of the exact same experiences under both identities. fuck i gotta go write an essay about this i guess
