Headcanon:
When Wrathion first hatched, the rogues got really protective because he was cute and had baby fat. When he started making murder plans they all became very proud of their son and follow his orders to encourage him.
Newer Black Talons don’t know this and just think he was so powerful a dragon that he could get all these rogues to follow him.
They miss his baby fat rolls.
