i dont think anyone has actually pointed this out, but the sword does in fact have animated parts to it that move. also, there’s literally constantly these creepy crunching noises across the entire zone. (sorry if the audio is soft, you may need to turn the audio)
step aside frostmourne, there’s a new sword king here.
you can read my post about Gorribal’s lore here, but its actually a sentient sword! it split itself so Sargeras wouldnt use it for evil so its probably writhing in guilt about the havoc its wreaked. it could also be Azeroth trying to push it out
