And then if you AFK or don’t check your phone and we wait for hours for a response, we REALLY get anxious as we envision every possible horrible thing you could possibly say no matter how logical or likely.

Get to the point asap and make sure you’re around to clarify any questions. If you know you are going to class, work, don’t start that conversation.
