*claps at that post you just reblogged* im honestly afraid of expressing my views this day and age because of the fear of being called literally everything bad in the dictionary and losing friends. i thought i was liberal and queer too so???? but everyone deserves a voice, stop crushing those even if you think they are ‘bad’?

Yeah, people say nasty shit. Its their right to say it. (Just like it’s your right to say w/e you want.) You aren’t forced to listen to it, just like nobody is forced to listen to you.

In this particular case the KKK was just applying to adopt a stretch of highway. It makes me uncomfortable as a black person, but I can’t stop someone’s speech just because I’m uncomfortable.

It’s not like we didn’t know the KKK is in Georgia before this.
