As a master illusionist, Edyne took Siavash with him through a portal to Suramar to explore the broken empire. Forced to be under cover, the mage covered their hides through magic, and so they walked through the streets to find many wonders as well as horrifying displays. Siavash had never seen such sights before and it made a huge impression on him to see a city of such size under dictate of the Burning Legion. In fact, he’s rarely seen what his “personal genie” is doing when he’s not strutting around as drag, in his company. This was quite something different!

This is really fast and sloppy and it’s late at night but I really wanted to doodle something, so here we go
“how the hell” is the fact that flight paths are ENTIRELY PRE-PROGRAMMED AND SCHEDULED. This is trivial.
“Technology has gotten so precise that it is possible to sync the image on an enormous video screen with the movements of an actual, real life, giant flying machine carrying hundreds of human beings thousands of meters up into the air. This is trivial.”
It’s absolutely not trivial, because it means that a flight somehow took off when scheduled.
Actually, it doesn’t. Positional data on flights is available globally in real time. Here’s a couple of sites that do that:
The logic in the billboard might just have a radio that listens for available ADS-B data on nearby planes (ADS-B can send the flight number and GPS position) and does this for the appropriate British Airways flights
Do you ever want to talk to someone REALLY BAD but you have nothing to say to reasonably start a conversation and you don’t actually want to do any talking you just want them to talk at you because you like them a whole fucking lot?
