Etienne is risen as scourge but is set free as he becomes Forsaken. His memories pour back to him, though he wishes he had not of been brought back from the dead. He remembers how the Light once embraced him and now has been replaced by the void. His violent death from the plague is tough on his mind and now his body is preserved but rotting from the inside. It felt like a much crueler fate now than what his death actually was.
