Ok I love all the Kylo Ren jokes (human trashbag, complete monster, Emo Teen) but like

According to the novel Ben was ten years old when he left home to train with Luke, and fifteen when he destroyed Luke’s Jedi temple

So that means Snoke tempting him to the Dark Side would have involved a lot less offering untold cosmic power; and a lot more child-grooming, and subsequently absconding with a preteen boy

We don’t know the details for sure, but if the movies go with this, Snoke was definitely grooming Ben from … infancy, pretty much.

There’s also that scene where Snoke tells Ben that he’s trained other people, but nobody like Ben because he’s special. D: D: D:

Filed under and leia didn’t tell han about this for awhile bc she thought she could shield ben so before they sent ben away (aged ten) there was a period when leia knew what snoke was up to and was trying to block him (sidenote: leia consciously using her force powers and confident in them? this would be nice to see onscreen) and there was also a period before /that/ when she /didn’t/ know but it was still going on even setting aside ‘always’ ben would /have/ to be a very small child when this started also that whole manipulating everything from the shadows pulling at ben definitely sounds like creepy dark side psychic shit so in all probability ben had his stalker inside his own head as… a toddler i feel like i should be tagging for like five different things but let’s go for grooming for ts ben organa snoke star wars (also the whole SNOKE! This.  The script, directing, Adam Driver, etc. all did a brilliant job of having Kylo Ren come off as very unstable and off-kilter.  I was wondering what had happened to him even before they brought up the Snoke involvement and that only cemented it.

I really wonder if we’re going to find out that Snoke was less after an apprentice that might usurp him and more after a vicious attack animal unhinged enough to not be a relevant threat to Snoke himself.

I was so, so hoping it wouldn’t have to come to this, but after an entire year of waiting and trying to be patient, I feel I have to make this official post.

Last January i inquired @burdwow about one of their $35 colored waist-up commissions [x]. After the second email with them sending the sketch, all contact came to a complete halt. I sent two more emails after that, along with multiple asks and fanmails on tumblr and a request for a refund. For months, there was nothing except for a few vague text posts that said she was getting to it [x] [x] It wasn’t until she was directly [called out] that they made a [text post]. She had not even attempted to try get in contact with any of the other people she had done this to. 

And there were quite a few. [x] [x] [x] [x] That’s 7 people alone that have been screwed over like this. Not including a few people who have come forward anonymously. I’m unsure if the people here have gotten their refunds, but I know I sure haven’t lol.

So she told me to send her my email and asked, since she could not get paid asap, if I wanted to have half the money now and half of it later. I said no, trusting she’d give me my full refund asap when she could.

And so almost a month passed. Again. I FINALLY got a reply saying she had the money. This was on December 12th. A month later. I sent two asks and a fanmail just in case she didn’t get my reply. And I decided to wait until the year was over to make this post in hopes she might contact me.

To top it off she had artist beware posts going back as far as 2011

At this point all I care about is that no one else gets scammed. I’d really like that money back but it’s too late at this point and I warn everyone to beware of commissioning this artist. 

Time to boost this again.

Never commission someone who frequently makes text posts full of excuses.

You have instructions written down. You don’t need them, but you check them anyway. Somehow they’re different from what you remember. Have they changed since you tucked the paper in your pocket?

Someone asks you for an important piece of information. You have not thought about it since you saved it on your computer, labelled very clearly. You search through your files. It is not there. You find it days later by accident, labelled with a cryptic set of codes. You don’t know why you would label it this way. No one else uses this computer but you. 

You are running late. You are always running late. 

You have lost something. You check everywhere. You check everywhere again. Someone tells you to think of when you last had it. You don’t tell them that is the problem.
