Wow… Now I just don’t want to buy music anymore. Holy fuck this is messed up. I always knew it was bad. But jeez.
Buying music still helps though. The best thing you can do is buy merch from bands when they’re on tour or if they sell merch through their own sites (without label help) get it there. They typically get most or all of the cut going that route. If you can’t do that, buying an album still helps, just not as much as we’d like.
