“LOL FUSIONS ARE GEM SEX XDDDD” haha nah son, fusions are obviously an extremely intimate relationship between gems, sometimes romantic, but reading them as a direct analogy for sex is seriously missing the point
are fusions a cool way to teach children about consent and boundaries in relationships? yes! do some fusions have romantic undertones? absolutely! do these things automatically equate to sex? wow, no
i don’t think there would be literally an entire episode where steven and connie – two children – were fused together, & this state of being was encouraged as being healthy and natural by garnet, if it was the equivalent of sweet space rock fuckin
this is kids’ tv, not everything is about sex, don’t be boring
So I was talkin in LFG chat today. We were talking bout the horrors of Throne of Thunder, especially the Gastropod NPCs. Eventually some person links the following picture and says that apparently the first time on normal mode was wrought with horror:
And boy do I agree. Because in the corner is a Gastropod…. coming for them… slowly…
Ofc I got a giggle out of it.
But as I was about to close out of the tab, I noticed something
Dusty books and old scrolls had led to great discovery in his short time outside of the dunes. This world had become magnificent and yet, all the while, more terrifying. Stories and rumor had spread across Eorzea of a fled Warrior of Light and the fall of the Scions.
Ul’dah had once been somewhere he had heard of glistening streets and a jewel that shone in the light of the full desert moon. Now it was the embodiment of fear: fear for his tribe that dwelled within the Sagolii, fear for his own life now that the pockets of men made the rules and sellswords seemed to answer their call like obedient dogs.
