hornedfreak: I suppose you’ve already guessed that as far as WoD goes, in my case, the adventures won’t be told from Zul’dar’s pov this time, rather it’s gonna be his comrade, Roteye.  And unlike Zul’dar, Roteye is less friendly and a loner, although somewhat goofy,

And unlike Zul’dar, Roteye is less friendly and a loner, although somewhat goofy, travelling on his own, and somehow ending up on Draenor.

Oh ffs I can’t figure out when to use Blood Boil for maximum damage. I know that DK’s rotations are easy, but for me, right now, only on level 63, they’re as confusing as ever.

unless they changed it blood boil until 75 is super broken and pretty much IS maximum damage, even single-target. I hope they didn’t change it!

(above: blood boil 2-shotting a mob at level 61)

If they did fix it so it’s scaled to level, you want to save it for mutliple aoe targets or just to refresh your diseases (Talent: Scarlet Fever) (or when it lights up from Crimson Scourge, because that means it wont cost runes). Use Heart Strike for single target. Assuming you’re blood, anyway. As unholy, you only want to use it on aoe targets once you’ve spread diseases. You don’t need it as frost.

I don’t think they changed it! And yeah, I’m Blood. At least it still inflicts a lot of damage on single mobs, yeah, like on the screencap you showed. I think I mostly get confused with the rotations as to how can I use BB as often as possible without getting myself into trouble.  Somehow reading tanking guides confuses me even more lmao. But well, I guess these are the drawbacks of never playing any tank or any class that isn’t a magewarlockshamanpriest ever.

Thank you for explaining!

Don’t worry about your rotation right now. You won’t get your rune regeneration talent until 75 and that plays a big part in your rotation.

You won’t get Outbreak until 81 and that helps a lot also, as you won’t be spending two runes on applying diseases.

You’ll be good spamming blood boil at least until 80:

(Ignore the total damage numbers. Tevrudin’s gear is absolutely ridiculous.)
