I love watching big men doing delicate things, like a huge guy playing house with his niece and the toy teacups looking so small in his massive bear paws, or a muscular zoo attendant gently feeding a baby bat by holding a miniature bottle to its mouth, or a broad-shouldered florist carefully wrapping flowers as though he can’t bear to bruise a single petal, or a six-foot-nine giant meditatively trimming the tiny bonsai tree he keeps on his windowsill.
