He was, practically in the middle of Scourgeprom. Tev doesn’t actually realize that he has feelings for Feiyn, so all of his affection for her manifests unconsciously. All he really knows is that things die faster when she is around, she’s resourceful in a fight, and she provides excellent ranged cover (and ear rubs.)
