I have had this headcanon for a while and Introduced It to my RP blog because It gave the muse and me something In common. I originally came out as bisexual and was so horrified by the backlash I received, I kept my pansexuality hidden for a long while. To be honest, with this, you’ve actually made me feel like Varian suffered a similar period of verbal abuse after he started to Identify as bisexual, and this makes me feel as though we have even more In common. So thank you!

Also lol at the “ISN’T BEING GAY ILLEGAL IN AZEROTH” ah… no. It’s not. There has never been anything to suggest it. There are even lesbian night elves in Dragonblight. I think it’s very safe to say Blizzard would never be so stupid as to write something homophobic into their story and potentially alienate their fanbase. Don’t be dense.
Also how audacious of us LGBTQ players to want some damn representation to the point where we craft innocent headcanons to remedy that!
If you want a cis/straight Varian, go find someone who will RP it. Don’t be so rude and enforce such.
The only place it might even remotely be illegal is in Quel’Thalas due to the fact that ~90% of the population got wiped out during scourgeprom and hey we need more elves.
