i think one toxic thing about tumblr is that you will literally always have your followerbase there to back you up if you have an even moderate following and that kind of instant circlejerk backup can make you feel enforced and just… you can get stuck in some pretty shitty mentalities that way… become immune to criticism because “oh these other people backed me up”
