WARSONG GULCH

  • flag carrier

I thought I’d start of today with Battle Grounds. Being a bit of a PvPer, I’ve always been in WSG. (Warsong Gulch) because it’s the first battle ground you can do. It’s a simple capture the flag game, whoever has more flags in 25 mins. wins. Or which ever team captures three flags first.

Speed

Now, being a feral druid, you are fast. Probably the fastest class. Indoors you have cat form, with talent trees done, you have ‘Feral Swiftness’. Step outside and travel from is quick, with PvP gear you can increase the speed by 15-20 (??) percent as well. Especially worgen druids are fast, they have ‘Darkflight’ Increasing there speed by 40% for a short period of time.

Doing Damage as you Flee Back to the Base

Druids also have ‘Thorns’ which will cause nature damage to attack. Along with ‘Thorns’ we have ‘Natures Grasp’ causing attackers to be entangled while the druid escapes. An extremely valuable spell for Flag Carriers.

Decreasing Damage

‘Bark Skin’ Reduces all damage taken by 30% and ‘Survival Insticts’ which decrease damage taken by 50%. This means if a druid gets into a sticky situation he can pop into cat or bear, and reduce alot of damage for 12 seconds.

Healing over Time

Now, finally, healing, before I grab the flag, or head down midfield I like to cast a couple of HoTs. ( Heals over time) Druids that Heal or Restro druids are known for there healing over time, another valuable aspect of being a druid flag carrier.

TL;DR

Druids are fantastic flag carriers, with there speed, strength, immunity to damage and last case heals.

Let me know if I missed anything, or if anything doesn’t seem right~!
