Where Xyx is now. (well, the costume will be darker, but yeah)

A crappy ref by me (I’m not an artist, I just doodle >.>), she isn’t hunched because I have bad enough posture already without having to pull off the charr look in ‘suit!

I wonder how many people will rage at how she isn’t all bestial and stuff? 😛

Q: Why didn’t you go for the bestial look?

A: Because I wanted a costume that was a charr, but wouldn’t scare people in the street. Also my friend makes toony suits, and I didn’t want her to have to go out of her comfort zone, for she’s still pretty new to making even toony suits (It doesn’t show IMO… :D)

Q: Why ocelot?

A: Because ocelots are awesome, charr are awesome, and yes <3

Q: Why Xyx?

A: Because I saw a car numberplate that said Xyx when I was walking home from work once, and I loved it. Her full name is Xyx Mantra.

Q: WHY ARE HER EYES LIKE THAT?

A: Catnip? :V I don’t really know, I accidentally coloured it like that once and liked it so kept it.

HEY GAIZ, IT’S AN OCELOT CHARR.

I’VE NEVER SEEN AN OCELOT CHARR BEFORE!

LOOK AT THE CUTE LITTLE EARS!

I’m sorry. I had to. This isn’t meant to be insulting at all, it’s an Archer reference and the use of it here makes me happy.

As for the style – you go with what you want. I love all styles of charr art, myself, and I’ve showcased the works of various artists and styles on this blog. The only thing I’m a stickler for is getting the anatomical details correct, because without those distinctive details, it just isn’t a charr! They’re what make a charr a charr!

But said details are present and accounted for, here!

Reblogging for Archer reference.
