here’s my evaluation of what’s going on here, as i can make quite a couple inferences from this

First, if you know Koltira’s lore, then you know that he was ANGRY, like, UNCONTROLLABLE RAGEFACE NFSKNL when the Scourge came down and killed his brother and friends.  The only intrigue he kept was the fact that Thassarian did not kill him, and it intrigued him further when Thassarian raised him insisted Koltira stay by his side in undeath.  They have since then always referred to each other as brothers and kept a healthy and even loving rivalry.

= I think WoW gave them the case of The Gays.

Thassarian always seems willing to do as Koltira suggests, is kind, nonaggressive, and compassionate to him.  You see this further during the death knight quests in Wrath as well.

I’m a bit upset at Koltira here though!  Look at the second picture!  Koltira’s words to Thassarian!  Not “i wanted to fight you again” not “let us duel to the death” not even a “GET OUT OF MY FACE”  Koltira!  Said!  “I wanted to give you a chance to kill me again.”  !!!  GUYS.  THE FUCK IS THIS.  THIS alone infers that Koltira knows his place in their relationship and is QUICK to just BE SUBMISSIVE to Thassarian!  WAT.

I’M KINDA THINKIN..cuz Thassarian wouldn’t kill Koltira, not again, not after their history.  I’M KINDA THINKIN “kill me” is CODE for the angry anal tango.  Yup.

And Thassarian is probably there licking his lips going aaaaaaw yeaaaaaaah les DO DIS but Koltira stops him and tells of the Horde’s next move in Andorhal.  Thassarian does the same, as they WANT to bide their time!  Koltira even ADMITS that he wants to bide his time when you hand in the quest [Scholomancer] because they WANT to see each other again and they’ll use any excuse to do so!  They ONLY went after the Scourge because they knew that to their superiors, it should show that they were making progress in Andorhol.  They could have EASILY sought each other out, EASILY, and ENDED IT, they both KNEW they’d be waiting for each other!  But they didn’t!

And!!

the LAST picture!  After Thassarian’s like “we can’t go on like this for much longer so be prepared to fight for real this time” and koltira doesn’t even say anything badass like “and i assure you ‘brother’ it will be our last time” y’know, all showdowny!  NO.  his speech looks like it came out an anime!  the.  FUCK.

I have determined only ONE thing from all these quests with Koltira and Thassarian.
