They are actually antennas and we use them to communicate with our fellow elves

I try to stress this when I rp — that zones are larger and more extensive than we think and the developers just had to make them smaller in-game for the sake of mechanics and game size and convenience etc but I love to imagine the immense sprawling woods and the city of Silvermoon being bigger than it is modeled and the towns spread through Quel’Thalas and hhhhhhhhh

The world is probably like 10 times bigger than what’s represented in the game, but in the interest of game mecanics they’ve shrunk everything down so it’s not a slog to get from point A to Point B. Just look how annoying travel is 85-90 when you don’t have your 310% speed mount anymore.

I think what bothers me most about the traditional vs digital argument is this:

Art is never about material. If it was, we could ignore singers, actors, musicians, dancers, performance artists, etc, etc etc. Its about expression and love, and it doesn’t matter how you express it.

Elfbrows always made me think of the tactile whiskers that rats have on their eyebrows, which help them gauge whether their bodies will fit through the crevices they are investigating.  Come to think of it, belfsies make me think of rats in general.  They are small, whimsical, clever, greedy, and there are too damn many of them!  They also have bright eyes and little grabby hands, like rats

I was thinking something similar the other day: if you poked a blood elf’s eyebrow would they blink (like cats do)?

I once made a joke that the Scourge had to have holes drilled in the Greathelm of the Scourge Champion because even underthe mind control of the the Lich King, blood elves refused to put the helm on because it would muss up their eyebrows.
