in case any of you guys need it

God it doesn’t even matter what I say on this tiny blog. But I’m a type one diabetic and a pharmacist. The insulin they give you cannot be used in the same way as most current commercial insulin. You basically have to go back to the late 90s and early 00s. Carb counting and scheduled meals with a scheduled amount of carbs.

YOU WILL DIE IF YOU TRY TO SUB INSULIN ANALOGS (HUMALOG NOVOLOG) WITH OTC INSULIN

YOU CAN SURVIVE ON OTC INSULIN BUT YOU HAVE TO MAKE SIGNIFICANT DOSING AND LIFESTYLE CHANGES
