He’d not take it. Tev likes the power he has now, he’s far stronger, and practically immortal. Constantly needing to kill things is inconvenient, but with the current political climate in in Azeroth, it’s likely he’d be doing that for the forseeable future anyway

Tevruden kinda sees that Varaelian and himself aren’t that different and have been through a similar situation. (Also: Van puts Tev back together (Which is eaiser to deal with because apparently mortals get freaked out when you use ~scourge magic~ to re-attach limbs) and Tev kills people that would prevent him from doing that.)
