Ro’liath shook, his tears stinging his eyes as he sobbed quietly against Tevruden’s shoulder. He wished they were hot, just so he could feel something as his body racked and shuddered with each sob, “I love you…” He hiccuped, his blunt fingertips gripping at the other’s arms tightly.

Tevruden held him, his hand moving in comforting circles over his back. He wished he could tell Ro’liath the things he wanted to hear, the feelings themselves confusing him. He hated seeing his friend like this, so upset and inconsolable…
