It’s a headcanon of mine (possibly a canon canon but they don’t make much mention of it) that all of the Alliance and Horde leaders speak both Common and Orcish for the sake of discussions and/or understanding the enemy and whatnot.

Imagine how hilarious Anduin must sound, speaking Orcish.

One foot in front of the other, a steady rhythm. An axe hung on his back, shaking in its bonds. He felt their blood flow into the darkened earth, their dreadful gazes pinned his thoughts unto murder.  

Thump Thump Thump.
Up an endless number of steps, coated in red, red, darkest red. Crushing his hands through fragile bodies, Horde and Alliance alike, he stumbled through the grand doors. Slick, grayed out marble beneath his step, Garrosh heaved an unnecessary breath. Sucking the life from a ghoul, making his way towards the other end of the hall.

Thump Thump Thump.
Dark and dull hair framing a scarred, grayish face. A vicious snarl, wolf-like, hands gripping tight a two-hander. A challenge, as old as their acquaintance.

Thump Thump Thump.
Axe against blade, screeching raw fury. A tiny ghoul intercepts, carrying the visage of a boy.
He soaks his weapon in blonde hair, and fights the father once more. Varian.

Thump Thump Thump.
The wings of Val’kyr rustle and beat beneath the high ceiling, their voices a dripping cacophony of hatred.  VARIAN.
