as we rightfully mourn a powerful tool for organizing and networking please also spare a thought for all of the wayward Important Boys adrift from twitter. it served as a specialized care neighborhood for their Important Boy Disease. the moment you touch a keyboard you become susceptible to Important Boy Disease and once it has advanced to a point of “speaking on behalf of a community” there is no cure, so we should all empathize with the pain of this confusing new environment.
i hope this post made you think of an Important Boy who is hurting right now. no one will see their replies to corporate accounts anymore.
