This is just.. a small reminder. Your parents? Your grandparents? They don’t know what they’re doing. There is no secret manual to being an adult, a parent, a person in general. We all do what we can, and sometimes we stumble along the way, sometimes we make terrible choices. Just remember, the success or failure of your family members is no reflection on YOU as a person. Whatever issues they have, whatever personality defects, they are not yours to bear. You just keep being you, because I promise you this. You are an incredible, unique person and you have an entire lifetime to discover just how wonderful you are.
