ALSO I wanna ask the same question, why does Tev have his runes? And I want to know the story behind dick runes as well you’re not wiggling outta this buster
Tev actually got his back when he and the other death knights were still a part of the scourge. Since their main purpose is to conduct necromantic energy around his body, the tattoos and runes are used to connect him to his armor, giving him the ability to channel energy into it, much like he can his runeblade.
He’s not really bound to a single set of armor, but he does prefer gear where he can take advantage of this. This also means getting everything in saronite, and having to go back to Acherus/Icecrown any time he wants to get it fixed.
As for the dick runes, If Tev thought they’d increase combat prowess, he totally got them.

I am going to avoid the obvious question about Ro’s tattoos but I am going to ask when he got them, and if they’re for anything.

LOL well the ones on his arms he originally got because he heard having runes inscribed on your body can amplify your runic magic. Ro figured it wouldn’t be bad to invest in some. The particular ones on his arms are more so for manipulating blood and healing/regerating himself rather than draining his enemies.
The obvious one was gotten after he realized how bored he always was cause he couldn’t sleep around (though he did realize after getting the ones on his arms he could wake the beast by stroking it) He figured having runes directly on his dick would make it easier to get it up
Sometimes I like to imagine ro and tev fighting, and since they both use blood magic, they’re going at it and then their runes accidentally activate cause they’re being over zealous with it
I like to think they wouldn’t have any fun if they didn’t go a bit too far with the fighting.
Peons get thrown, walls get dented, but everyone generally has a good time.
