The biggest tragedy of Freakazoid! is that it was an amazing parody of what the internet hadn’t yet become.
Everyone who loved this as a kid or as a teenager are in their 30’s/40’s now… so what of The Freakazoid now that we’re gownups. Watch it now as an adult and be astounded at how well it aged…and by how many of the jokes you still don’t get. Watch it now for the first time and love it.
It’s a really, really good cartoon that missed it’s time by about 20 years.
