Referencing your “what do you mean you’re putting a hold on my card?!” post…I once had a lady try to check in at 3 am for her reservation for the next day (ya know, as they do), and when I told her that we were sold out and that out check-in time for her reservation was 3 pm she looked me in the eye and said “I stay in hotels 200 nights of the year, and I have never heard of a hotel having a check in time,” and honestly I have never been lied to so boldly in my life.
I can’t tell you how many times their response to anything is “I stay at hotels all the time and none of them do that.” It’s so common that it blows my mind.
But, yes. That out right lie would’ve made me probably debate between calling her out, or laughing.
