people can n will make the argument that a year is worth a lot in change and growth, and i agree– but its an issue of reoccurring patterns and concerns that don’t validify anything BUT the same mindset as before.
i haven’t seen any apology from anyone. not even to @ironleaf who was face-to-face with the transphobia – who is actually trans themself.snide comments, tags and as people like to call it “opinions” DO hurt people. its encourages a harmful narrative that wishes ill on people who don’t adhere to the idea of a “normal” person! people are upset and rightfully so. things were said that were HORRIBLE. like you said tho, if someone tagged something like that on a picture of myself– i’d be fucking horribly upset but also mad as FUNK.
